Creating music for actors, clowns, and dancers is a unique challenge I’ve come to enjoy. I’ve spent hundreds of hours collaborating with the San Francisco Mime Troupe, the New Pickle Circus, storyteller/beatboxer Tim Barsky, choreographer Susan Marshall, Art & Revolution, California Shakespeare Theater, and Berkeley Repertory Theatre, and I’ve played at more than a few modern dance performances, street theater and puppet festivals, and protest gatherings. Got a gig you think I’d dig? Let’s play!
Here’s a sample of work I’ve done as a composer and sound designer for folks like director Patricia McGregor (Winter’s Tale and Skeleton Crew), Kirsten Brandt (Richard III), L. Peter Callender (A Streetcar Named Desire), Margo Hall (Thurgood), Kieran Beccia (Where the Boys Are), as well as choreographers Rosemary Hannon and Miriam Wolodarski (The Crane & The Crocodile 2.1: Domestic Interrogations).
